We have finally finished reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! What a great ending! Not only did Harry save the day, but his friends were there to help him. I love how Ron used his Chess skills and Hermione used her logic to get passed those obstacles. They were brilliant! I was also shocked to discover that Professor Quirrell was the one after the Sorcerer's Stone and not Professor Snape! Snape always makes it seem like he is after Harry, when really he was only trying to help him. Lastly, it was so exciting that Gryffindor won the house cup! I think after Harry and Hermione lost so many points for their house, it was nice that they were able to earn the points that helped them win. Way to go Gryffindor! What a great book!

I think if Quirrell wasn't going after the Sorcerer's Stone it would have been Professor Sprout. We heard so little about him in the story that there is a chance he could be trying to sneak in and take the Sorcerer's Stone! We do not really know whether Professor Sprout is a helpful person or a sneaky person. I think that he could be a suspect until we do find out more (maybe in another book!).

I just answered the voting thingamagigour and I voted Snape cause he's actully mean to almost everyone but you actully see him like that but he's not.
I chose Professor Snape because he seems really mean. He doesn't seem like a good guy. Harry suspected him too. In the sixth book, Snape actually works for Voldemort.
I really liked Harry Potter and Sorcerer's Stone. It has a lot of magical things in it. The story is very exciting because it is filled with surprises. When I first read the book, I never suspected Professor Quirrel. I loved the book.

I guess we hyave finished the book! I thought it was great and if Professer Quiell wasn't the one to take the Scorceror Stone I think it would be Professer Snape who did it. I would because he seems to be mean and greedy so he would probably like the stone all for himself.
I think the book was great! They way Miss Romola reads it, with so much expression, it just makes the book seem exactly like the book. WE WILL MISS YOU MISS ROMOLA!!!!! :( :( :( :( :(

I am doing the questions at the bottom of the page. First of all I think Hermione was most frightend for Harry because she is one of his BF's and has a lot of feelings for him. For the second question I think they had the Christmas feast because they did it for the students and it is a very big holiday. And for the third question I would say Harry really liked Hogwarts. He made a lot of new friends and all of that. He also became famous kind of. Well, running out of room here.

I think that if Professor Quirrel was not the one who was going to take the sorcer's ston that it would be Professor Snape because he always seems sneeky. I really enjoyed the book a lot. I liked it because it was really interesting i and i never knew what was going to happen. I think i would like to read the 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th and
7th books in the series.

I think Professer Snape because he`s really suspicious looking and because he teaches "defense against the dark arts" so if he ran into trouble he could use his magic to get out safely.

If a profesor stole the stone, I think it would be Professor Sprout. He seems like the kind that wouldn't take it so that's why I think he would take it. The author might do that to fool the reader. I also really liked the book. I also liked TM's and BK's PSs. I'll miss you too!

I loved the book because I love all the characters and I would love to go to Hogwarts.
If Quirrel didn't take the stone, I thought Dumbledore should have taken it. If the Halfblood Prince, Snape kills Dumbledore. If he had the stone, he could have lived forever. That would have been great.

I think Snape would steal the stone because he was mean to Harry
during classes.Snape would do mostly anything to Harry. I don't think that any others that were listed on the blog would steal it.
Harry would know if someone was stealing the stone.
