I was SO excited to see how many of you responded to last week's post! Let's keep it up again this week! I would like us to think about what it would be like to be in Harry's shoes. He's just left the only family he's ever known, and while they definitely were not the best, they were still family. How would you feel if it was you?
I think I would feel very lonely. It is very hard to go to a new place knowing absolutely no one! Think about what it was like when you started at a new school. You had no idea what to expect, and I'm sure if you had friends or family to turn to it definitely helped. What do you think?

If I were to just dump my family behind I'd feel awkward. Who would want to dump the people that raised, cared, and fed!? But I said my family not Harry's.

I Tottaly agree with F.S. cause I don't know any body but only almost 4-5 people.Ooh yaeh sure being a wizard is normal.But I wouldn't miss my ummlieng,mean,fat family.

I choose awkward because in the book they say that Harry does not have parents so really I'd say theres nothing to werry about.

I would feel awkward because it is kind of weird letting a stranger take you to a wizardry school that you don't even know about. I wouldn't really feel comfortable with that. Plus I would NOT want to leave my mom and dad. Maybe my brother and sister.

I would feel lonely because if you had to leave you family it would be scary too. Also because you would have to get places on your own.
