I am very happy to see that so many of you answered last week's poll question! Unfortunately, there was not one house where everyone responded which means that none of the houses will get 5 extra points. I hope I'll be able to give those points this week!
Now that Harry is at Hogwarts, and has been placed into his house, we are seeing him in his classes. He has some pretty interesting ones! Transfiguration sounds like it will be pretty tough, and I think Harry better watch out in potions! Who knows what Professor Snape will ask him to do!
The poll question for this week was created by M.T. and I think it is an excellent one. This goes back to when Harry was being placed into his house.
I think that the other kids wanted Harry in their house because of his scar. Even though Harry doesn't realize how famous he is, all the other kids have known about him for their entire lives! I think they are amazed to see Harry Potter in school with them, and only want him in their house because he is famous, and his scar made him famous.

I think the other kids want Harry in their group because they think he's cool. They probably think he's just so cool because he survived You-Know-Who. Some kids might think that if they hang out with him, they'd get popular. They think he's special. Which, technically, he is.

It looks like we have some different opinions in our class. I think that it is interesting that the people who say "because he is cool" think that he is cool because he survived You-Know-Who. I don't think that Harry thinks that's so cool, but it does sound like the other kids do!

I think they want Harry becuase he is greatest wizzard how ever lived. Also becuase he is the only wizzard to defeat Voldamort. Also his parents were the only ones to stand up to Voldamort and they were really strong wizzards to.

The reason I chose "Because they think he's cool" is because he deafeted the strongest, darkest, guy in all of eternity! If you did that wouldn't people want you on there baseball team!? I'd want him on my side if I was a wizard too.
