We have finally have reached the point in our story where Harry is leaving for Hogwarts! This is so exciting! We are going to begin to see the magical world and all that it involves. Sounds pretty cool to me! I can't wait to hear what all of you think about the story up to this point. Don't forget, you can always write more than the minimum in you blog entry. I would LOVE to hear what you think of the book up to this point, and also about what you think will happen next!
For this week's poll, I think that if I had to go through the barrier at platform 9 and 3/4 I would be more than just scared. I would be TERRIFIED!!! The idea of having to walk straight through a solid wall is totally crazy! I think that Harry is very brave to trust the woman with the red hair when she tells him that is what he has to do. What do you think?

I would be confident because I know I could go through the barrier,since I would be a wizard. I think that wizards wouldn't get hurt.It is so cool that Harry can go through the barrier.

I would be scared to walk through Platform 9 and 3/4 because it looks like a solid wall. I would trust the woman with the red hair since she has sons that were going to Hogwart too. I would still be scared because I have run into a wall and it really hurts. I am really enjoying the book, it is very funny.

I have to agree with D.E. I think I would also think it is a joke! I mean to suddenly be told that not only am I a wizard, but there is a whole wizard world??? That's just crazy!

I chose weird becase If a giant guy stomped in your house telling you your a wizard thats really freaky. And later by the trainstation he tells you to go to a place you dont even know about! Then a lady tells you to walk through a wall! Freaky.
